Gundogdu Model United Nations
It is our deepest pleasure to welcome you all to the 6th annual session of Gündoğdu Model United Nations which will take place between 20th and 22nd January. As years went by, our conference’s quality has only gotten impeccable. We are more than prepared to make sure this year is even better than last year.
This year we have selected 8 committees for you, including 2 Turkish committees. Our General Assembly committees being UNODC, LEGAL, SOCHUM and UNOOSA; special committees being FRIENDS and BINANCE. Last but certainly not least, our Turkish committees are the most anticipated KOVAN and Kadın Hakları committees. We surely believe that these committees will succeed and the debates are about to heat up! Our academic and organization teams are working perfectly together to conduct the sixth annual session as they have these past five years. We hope to see you all among us and can’t wait to meet you all once again!
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us on instagram @gmun2023
Sincerely, Presidents Çağla Hızlı & Birbey Ulaşer

Adana, Turkey's 6th largest city, is a fast-growing agricultural and industrial boom town, the commercial capital of the eastern Mediterranean coast
Adana (AH-dah-nah pop. 2 million) is hardly a tourist mecca high heat and humidity in summer, swirling traffic, and limited sights keep it that way even though it has a good selection of hotels (mostly for business travelers).
Adana is an important transport point, however, and if you find yourself spending the night, visit the 16th-century Ulu Camii (Great Mosque), the Ethnography Museumset up in a sweet little Crusader church, the Regional Museum with lots of good Roman artifacts, and the Taş Köprü (Stone Bridge) built by Roman emperor Hadrian (117-38 AD) over the Seyhan River
